Great Billing Methodist Church is flourishing even though it is small. We have a dozen members but are also joined by others including people from different churches who appreciate the variety of our afternoon services, including our monthly “Scones of Praise”.
Both the chapel and the adjoining well-equipped kitchen and fellowship room, are regularly used by various groups from the circuit, parish and wider community.
As part of the Billing Covenanted Churches Together (BCCT), we share services and activities at different times of the year with our ecumenical partners.
We also hold social events such as Fish & Chip lunches and charity fundraising such as Coffee Mornings and Book Sales.
In addition there are Reflective Mornings on the first Tuesday of every month from 10.30am – 12 noon (Coffee served at 10.15). These cover a wide variety of subjects and always include a time for quiet reflection. Friends from a number of different churches within the Methodist Circuit or the local area join together for this space for nurture away from the day-to-day rush of life.
ZOOM PRAYER BREAKFAST 8.30 – 9.00 a.m. every Tuesday.
This is a quiet, structured time of prayer for our world, our community, our churches and ourselves.
We use a Celtic Liturgy, read a Psalm and pray together.

“Engaging with new people and sharing the Gospel” is one of our key Mission Priorities.
A House Group now meets each month on the second Tuesday at 3.00 pm to nurture new members and adherents and to provide a friendly House Group with Bible Study in an informal setting. Our prayer is that we may be strengthened in our faith, grow as Christians and provide good Pastoral Care.
