The next NMC Walk will take place on Wednesday 1st November 2023. It will be a 3 mile walk from Badby to Fawsley and return – probably one of the most beautiful walks in the county. Although a relatively short walk, it is quite undulating. The circular walk will start from the parish church in Badby at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed, for those who wish, by lunch at The Countryman in Staverton.

The route will go from the ‘chocolate box’ village of Badby, through the ancient woodland of Badby Woods (which will hopefully be in full autumn dress by then), to the mediaeval Fawsley church (all that’s left of Fawsley village, cleared for sheep farming in the 15th century), walking through a Capability Brown landscape to get there.

Please let Pam Kirkland (email: chelsea14458@gmail.com; mob: 07961973685) know by Friday 27th October if you plan to join the walk. and whether or not you would like to stay for lunch.

Many thanks,
Pam
